Pool Renovation at Narangba

by Chris Gill, January 10, 2017

Ditching their old fibreglass pool and replacing it with a custom designed in-ground concrete swimming pool with water feature was the main priority of this Narangba Pool Renovation. Not only was the old pool looking less than it’s best, the fibreglass had started to split and leak causing damage to the existing gazebo structure and the home.

Project Brief:

  • Remove and replace existing fibreglass pool with new low maintenance in-ground concrete swimming pool
  • Repair existing gazebo posts
  • Tidy and make cosmetic improvements to the entertainment/swimming pool area for increased usability.
  • Replace existing aluminium pool fencing with glass panels for an uninterrupted view of the pool.

What we achieved:

By removing the old fibreglass pool, we were able to reshape the pool area into a modern rectangle, instantly transforming the area from an ’80’s relic to a modern looking entertainment space. The use of natural stone tiles and pool coping as well as the addition of a stacked stone water feature with cascading waterfall instantly transformed the area into a sophisticated, bright and welcoming space. We also gave the existing thatched roof bali gazebo a makeover, with new poles, and a light haircut!
